Discussions

A discussion can be in one of the following states and can be accessed from the main discussion page on the admin site

New (Newly Submitted) - Admin needs to review and take one of the following actions

  • Edit - Edit the discussion topic (title, body, category, and tags can be edited)

  • Enable comments - Open the topic to the public so that community can add comments

  • Reject - Reject the discussion topic

  • Delete - Permanently delete the discussion topic

Approved For Public - Any new topic that is open for community discussion

  • Edit - Edit the discussion topic (title, body, category, and tags can be edited)

  • Disable comments - Disable comments so that the community can no longer add comments

  • Reject - Reject the discussion topic

  • Delete - Permanently delete the discussion topic

Recently-Closed - Any new topic that is closed for public discussions

  • Edit - Edit the discussion topic (title, body, category, and tags can be edited)

  • Create Draft Proposal - Create a draft proposal (another discussion topic that is private between the author, admin, and moderators). It will open the draft proposal in a new window as displayed below:

  • Enable comments - Enable comments so that the community can continue the discussion

  • Reject - Reject the discussion topic

  • Delete - Permanently delete the discussion topic

Ready for Review (Ready for Mod Review) - Any draft proposal that is ready for internal review by other admins and moderators

  • Edit - Edit the discussion topic (title, body, category, and tags can be edited)

  • Close Author Edits - The author can no longer edit the draft proposal

  • Needs Details - The author gets notified about additional details needed in the draft proposal

  • Delete - Permanently delete the discussion topic

Draft Proposal - Any draft proposal with all needed details from the author (status - Closed Autor Edits)

  • Edit - Edit the discussion topic (title, body, category, and tags can be edited)

  • Reject - Reject the discussion topic

  • Create Proposal - Create a new proposal from the draft (creates a new proposal on Snapshot using all the content added to the draft proposal)

  • Delete - Permanently delete the discussion topic

Approved For Voting - Any draft proposal that has been converted into a proposal

Rejected - Any discussion topic that has been rejected
