FAQ
How can I propose a new idea to the community using the dTerminal solution? Go to the terminal website and connect your wallet. Ensure that you have the necessary tokens in your wallet, and proceed to create a new topic from the discussion tab.
How many tokens do I need in my wallet to participate in the discussions? And to vote on proposals? To find out the minimum token requirement, navigate to the settings > main section on the dTerminal website.
Will the proposals still be accessible from the Snapshot platform? Yes. All proposals and voting actions performed on the dTerminal sites are communicated to Snapshot through API calls initiated by our backend service.
Will I be able to vote using the locked tokens? The availability of such functionality on the dTerminal site depends on whether the DAO permits voting using locked tokens on Snapshot. If the DAO allows this, then the same capability should also be accessible on the dTerminal site.
Who can create new proposals? New proposals on Snapshot can only be created by the admin team of a Web3 community. This is because any new idea must undergo a review process and gain approval from both the admins and the special counsel team before it can be posted on the snapshot site.
Can I remove my profile from the dTerminal site? Yes. You can remove your profile at any point. The wallet associated with your activities cannot be removed, but it will remove your profile image, username, bio, and your social accounts.
To delete your user profile, navigate to your profile and click on the button labeled "Remove profile."
